"We absolutely loved our time in Istanbul. What a great city!! We did lots of things you suggested except for eating the chicken desert - somehow when it came to desert the thought of chicken kind of didn't fit!! However we did visit lots of bars with live music - well you can't really miss them staying in pera!place can you? We did lots of walking and sightseeing. Such a vibrant place and we felt very safe too. As for pera!place what a perfect spot and it was certainly very comfortable with all inclusions. It was good to be able to settle in for the week and get mundane things like the laundry done. I loved your furniture especially the little white tables and the chairs. Very chic and comfortable too. Also the 3 mirrors above the fireplace really set the room off. And the ceiling!!!!!! Amazing!! I looked at it for ages and each time I saw something new. The information folder was very helpful and so too were the myriad of books on Istanbul. We scoured them each day to sort out where we would be going. Having an abundance of restaurants close at hand was just great. Plus there were lots of takeaway places which we used on a couple of the nights. Please extend my thanks to your family for their initial help in settling us in. Our stay was perfect and we would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to be in a happening place.
