galata!place is on the second floor of an elegant 19th century building very near the beautiful Galata Tower. The apartment has a huge living/dining room, two comfortable bedrooms (one double, one twin), a large and well-equipped kitchen, family bathroom and second loo. The bay window in the living room has a view of Galata Tower from one side and some of the Bosphorus from the other. galata!place is a spacious 120 m2 in total, with lovely high ceilings throughout. The bedrooms comfortably accomodate four people, with scope for extra children.

We were in Istanbul to renovate the kitchen and bathroom, decorate and furnish in July 2009. All period features (sash windows, panelled double doors etc) have been reinstated/restored. The living room retains its ceiling fresco.
