sahkulu!place apartment

sahkulu!place is on the third floor of a grand 19th century building close to Galata Tower with Tunel underground funicular only 2 minutes walk away. The street is quiet and residential, yet just around the corner are restaurants and cafes plus all the buzz of this bohemian district. The living room and bedrooms overlook the interesting and authentic streets below and there are Bosphorus/Golden Horn views from the communal roof terrace a couple of floors up.

sahkulu!place has a very spacious entrance hall/dining area, a large living room and two comfortable bedrooms (one double, one twin). The kitchen is simple and cosy with a separate small utility room and there is one shower room/loo.

The apartment is 90m2 in total, sunny and well laid-out. It still has many of its original wall and ceiling frescoes. The bedrooms comfortably accommodate four people, with scope for extra children.

We plan to renovate the kitchen and shower room this winter but meanwhile they are clean and functional although a bit jaded. The rental rates reflect this condition and as a result sahkulu!place is a sweet bargain for now.
