galata!place apartment

galata!place is on the second floor of an elegant 19th century building very near the beautiful Galata Tower. The apartment has a huge living/dining room with two sofas plus a dining table in the cumba (bay window area) which overlooks the street below. From these windows there are views of the tower to one side, beautifully lit at night, and a little of the Bosphorus in the opposite direction. Sishane metro station is about 3 minutes' walk away.

Along a spacious hallway there are two quiet and comfortable bedrooms (one double, one twin) plus a very large, well-equipped kitchen with stylish breakfast table. The apartment has a big family bathroom (with bath and shower over) and smaller second loo.

galata!place is a spacious 120 m2 in total, bright and airy with lovely high ceilings. All period features (sash windows, panelled double doors etc) have been reinstated/restored and the floors are exposed original floorboards. The living room has an elegant original ceiling fresco in restful sea-green colours which are echoed in the furnishings throughout the apartment. The bedrooms comfortably accommodate four people with some scope for extra children.
